Blair Lancaster has lived in Burlington her entire life. She grew up here and knows first-hand the challenges Burlington has faced in growing from the little town that it once was.
Blair lives in Ward 6, with her husband, Brian Bourne, and raised her children, Martin, Jade and Stephanie in their home on Hazelwood Avenue. Blair is the owner of Blair Lancaster Spa and Modeling, a business that she started in Burlington more than 36 years ago and is the Executive Director of Breast Cancer Support Services.
A Champion of Community Causes
Blair has also supported and lead many community based projects, such as chairing the Maternity & Childcare Campaign for the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, the Capital Campaign for Breast Cancer Support Services, helped to build a serenity garden for cancer survivors, founded the Breast Health Fund of Canada Education Program, built a new mammography suite at JBMH, lead the initiative for a Student Center at Sheridan College, she was a member of the steering committee for Shape Burlington, served as Vice Chair of the Board of Sheridan College. Blair also is the Executive Director for Breast Cancer Support Services, where she has helped to develop the organization to become a widely-recognized authority on women's health issues.
